‘Graffiti isn’t vandalism but a beautiful crime’ {Monsieur A}

BC began in 2004 as a cunning ruse to trick Adam Neate into not leaving all his fine pictures in the street. It worked for a while, then fate carried me and my brood to Barcelona from whence I have returned and been joined by a co-conspirator, Westie.

Adam is now collected by oligarts, Banksy is manufacturing animatronic fur coats and Dface finds himself digitally defaced for making pretty with Miss Aguilera.

Laz calls it cult art, Wooster ephemeral, the academics, street art and the auction houses, urban art. It’s all semantics for what inspires us on a daily basis and lives outside the confines of the conventional gallery space. But it’s more than just art on walls, it’s vinyl toys, apparel, music, film making, design, jumping off buildings and even advertising.

We’ve gone all web 2.0 social community with a remit to bring you the most beautiful and breaking news from the street and webtropolis.

We want to promote active discussion, an art poke for the Facebookers and counter culture hookers.

We want you to tell us what you see and what’s going on.

That’s one part of it and we think they’re might be two others, but we haven’t figured them out yet.
